How Do I Access My Certificate of Completion for a Course?

Starting in winter 2024, American Police Training will simplify the process of accessing your certificates of completion for training courses. Here’s how you can access and manage your certificates once this feature is available.

Steps to Access Your Certificate:

1. Complete a Training Course:

   • Ensure you have successfully completed the training course. Certificates are only generated for courses that have been finished.

2. Log into Your Account:

   • Access the American Police Training website and log into your account using your credentials.

3. Navigate to the My Account Section:

   • Locate the "My Account" section where you will find records of all your completed training.

4. Download Your Certificate:

   • Within the My Account section, locate the specific training course and click on the download link to obtain your certificate of completion.

Certificate Details:

• Information Included:

  • The certificate will display essential details such as your name, commission ID number, training course title, number of hours completed, commission reporting number, and date of completion.

• Saving and Printing:

  • You can save the certificate to your device and print it for your records. Additionally, you can share the certificate with your agency for documentation purposes.

• Indefinite Access:

  • Certificates will be available for download indefinitely, allowing you to access them at any time without restrictions.

• Convenience:

  • We understand the importance of having documentation of completed training readily available. This feature is designed to make it easy for users to access and manage their training certificates.

Important Note:

• Completion Requirement:
  • Certificates are only available for courses that have been fully completed. Incomplete courses will not have certificates generated.
• Current Distribution Process:
  • Until this feature is implemented in winter 2024, the distribution of certificates is the responsibility of the instructor and event provider. Please coordinate with them to receive your certificates for the courses you complete.
