How to Post a New Event on American Police Training

7 min. readlast update: 06.25.2024

American Police Training is dedicated to providing a comprehensive platform for law enforcement training providers to reach their audience effectively. Posting a new event is a straightforward process designed to maximize efficiency and impact.

Getting Started

Log In as a Coordinator or Event Manager

  • Coordinator Access: If you have an Attendee account, ask your agency’s training coordinator to add you as an Event Manager.
  • New Coordinator Account: If your organization doesn’t have a training provider account, register as a Coordinator here.

Access Your Dashboard

  • Once logged in, visit your account dashboard: Coordinator Dashboard.
  • In the left side menu, find the "Add New Event" option with a plus icon next to it. Click to open the accordion menu.

Event Types

Choose from four event types based on your training format:

In House In-Person

Events hosted by your organization in person at your facilities. This selection allows American Police Training to manage your registrations, cancellations, and event reminders. If the event is free to attend, we will not charge for our service. A flat 5% fee only applies to paid events using this feature.

External In-Person

Events managed by a third party, where registrations are handled on a different website. This option is ideal for training providers managing their own registrations and payments. Use this to post your event in our directory for free to increase visibility.

On-Demand Online Training

Training hosted on-demand on another platform. Participants can access these courses at their convenience. Training providers, like SpanishOnPatrol.com, use this event type to market their training events for free on our platform.

Scheduled Online

Live online classes and seminars scheduled for specific dates and times. This option enables real-time interaction with instructors and participants, combining the convenience of online learning with the structure of scheduled sessions. Great for promoting your online events at no cost.
